Stargate Command (SGC) is a classified branch of the United States Space Force which operates out of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado. It deals with managing several classified operations: exploring off planets, researching new technologies, and many other projects that aren't declassified to the public. Due to what the Mountain contains, it's heavily guarded and believed to be the most protected facility in the world.
