MEC MEC is the native token of Meta Earth. The total supply of MEC is 20 billion. Out of this, 10 billion MEC are pre-mined and encoded into the genesis block. The pre-mined 10 billion tokens are permanently locked. The remaining 10 billion MEC are produced through staking. In the first year, the total staking rewards amount to 50% of the pre-mined coins, meaning 5 billion coins will be produced in the first year, and the staking rewards will halve in subsequent years.
